T Slot Milling

T-bolts have a square head that presses against a workpiece and a threaded rod that connects to a T-nut. T-nuts have T-shaped body that slides into a groove and a threaded bore that mates with a T-bolt. T-slot cutters are used for grooving and T-slots milling in a previously cut slot. They are designed with a positive rake that alternates right and left hand pockets. The horn t-slot cutters are nice - much softer cutting action than the common square insert types - but they are limited to pretty small sizes. If you look at the t-slot section they have the perfect insert for WILLIE'S application. A 17mm wide insert. You could easily run a pass then step over.
