It includes a front load 3U 2-slot 1' pitch air-cooled card cage, a rear 3U 2-slot 1' pitch rear transition module card cage, and a 2-slot custom 3U OpenVPX backplane, compliant to OpenVPX Backplane Profile BKP3-DIS02-15.2.8-2. The chassis can be powered by an external ATX type power supply using a standard ATX type. Designed for 3U VPX and SOSA aligned modules, the AoC3U-410 is a 4 slot ATR chassis featuring dual removable high capacity drive bays. The conduction cooled chassis includes forced air cooling to widely available VITA 48.2. A VMEbus slot is limited to a maximum of 90 watts at 5 volts. VPX raises this to 115 watts at the same voltage, or up to 384 watts at 12 volts or 768 watts at 48 volts. The specification of 6U VPX calls for computer cooling via a conduction-cooled envelope compliant with the IEEE standard IEEE-1101.2.

OVERVIEW
Featuring large heatsink areas and a fully customizable backplane our HAWK can be configured to meet many special single or double slot payload demands. Available as a lab version for the LN-1000 in the single slot version.
Combined with our IGUANA OpenVPX 3U switch module or Juniper Networks LN-1000 rugged router the HAWK is a very small but fully ruggedized networking platform. Combined with our 3U VPX Intel I7 CPU module it can be configured to meet various demands. Ask for block diagrams of standard variants!
I/O can be configured to 2x 55 pin MIL-DTL connectors plus a power connector, power switch and GORE brand vent.
